I was raised on grain livestock farm in Hancock County. I graduated with a 4-year BS degree in Agriculture Economics from University of Illinois in 1984. I married Carol in 1985 and farmed full-time through 1990.
I began with ASCS in 1991 as a COT. I became the CED in Effingham County in 1991.
I was elected to the IASCOE board in 2000 as a Director for Wolfe’s district.
I have 3 children, Rachel (Junior), Renee (Freshman), and Ryan (7th grade).
I have been a volunteer Firefighter @ Altamont Fire Department for 10 years.
