Registration Form:  We need to decide if we still want the early bird drawing of $25 and the date to be set for the early bird registration.  We need to decide for the luncheon buffet if we like 1 entrees or 2 entrees then set the price. Also set the registration fee for the convention of either $5 or $10.

Friday will be packed with the board meeting, possible Continental Tire Facility tour, State Office Q&A session, hospitality room, and dance.  Debbie Staley will report on the Continental Tire Facility tour then we need to decide if we would want to have the tour probably leaving hotel at 12:30pm and returning no later than 3:00pm.

Do we want a group game to play on Friday night such as cornhole or something else?

Hospitality Room will be a complimentary duplex.  Whoever signs up for this committee is responsible for making sure there are drinks and light snacks in the room.  You can also come up with a theme for the hospitality room. 

Do we want to contact Jeff Pingsterhaus for his DJ service or contact a DJ service in the area?

Each county is to bring a door prize.  Each district is to bring one silent auction item.  I would like District 5, 6, and 7 to bring items to put in the registration bags.  Raffle tickets will be either be mailed to the Board Members or disbursed at a district meeting.

2013 and 2014 Convention:

The Northfield Inn, Suites & Conference Center (Springfield, IL) will be the host of our 2013 and 2014 Annual Convention. 

• 2013:  March 22 & 23

• 2014:  March 28 & 29

• Room Rates $72 plus tax

• Meeting space complimentary with 40 or more guest room nights over the 2 day stay.  If not, then the meeting space would have a rental fee of $150 for Friday.

• Space for the dance can be complimentary with food/beverage purchases of $400 or more.

• Meeting space on Saturday would be complimentary with a planned banquet luncheon of 50 or more guaranteed

• Hospitality room can be provided complimentary with 25 guest room nights occupied.
