I grew up on a livestock/crop production farm near Disco, IL . I worked off the farm and helped my father farm in the Disco and La Harpe area until joining ASCS in 1992. I graduated from Western Illinois University with my main study in agriculture business. After completing the COT Program, I was hired as the CED for the Massac County Office, and was later selected to fill the Stark County CED position. I applied and was selected to fill the Bureau County CED position in January of 1997. I married Jannifer Stevens and have two daughters, Alexandra (7 years old) and Brenna (5 years old). I joined IASCOE after being selected to fill the position in Massac County.
