I grew up on a grain and livestock farm in Edwardsville, IL. I graduated from Illinois State with an Ag Business & Agronomy degree in 2002. I began my FSA career in August of 2002 when I was hired on as a COT. I trained in Clinton County and after completing the COT program, I was hired as the CED in Christian County in September of 2003. In March of 2005, I made a tough decision to try and get closer to home. I applied for the Bond County CED position and was lucky enough to get hired. After 5 years in Bond County, I again made a very difficult decision to try and get closer to home, actually the closest you can get, my home county. In June 2010, I was fortunate enough to become the CED in Madison County. I enjoy my job very much and I feel lucky to have the opportunity to work with the great people in FSA as well as the agriculture community. I am married to my wonderful wife Liz and we have two awesome boys, Jack who is 5 and Drew who just turned 2.
